VERTRA Forums Inc. is a privately-held company, not affiliated with any supplier to the investment or legal industry, government agency or media organization. This enables us to function as impartial facilitators, educators and trusted advisors to our clients, providing research, planning and complete end-to-end project oversight without influence from third parties.
Our independence and singular focus on developing executive forums allow us to concentrate on our goal of exceeding your service expectations with a long-term perspective.
GENE BEIL
As the founder and president of Vertra Forums Inc., Gene is focused on cultivating client relationships, overseeing program development and directing strategic and operational initiatives.
He brings a depth of knowledge and hands-on capabilities across the disciplines required to deliver executive forums through 16 years of leadership experience specializing in business-to-business information and events.
Prior to Vertra Forums, Gene spent over eight years at ALM – American Lawyer Media, where he was the Managing Director of ALM Media Canada d.b.a. Insight. He led the ideation, design and delivery of hundreds of business conferences, summits and advanced professional development meetings across an array of diverse industries within the financial, legal, technology, energy and natural resources sectors. Gene built the company’s alternative investment events portfolio from the ground up serving more than 1,100 senior decision makers. His commitment to developing executive leadership communities for institutional and family office clients attracted end-investors – CxOs and their direct reports – who collectively managed over $1.8Trillion in assets.
Previously, Gene was a General Manager at Marcus Evans, one of the largest global producers of business conferences and summits.
Gene earned an Honours BA from the University of Toronto double majoring in Economics and Employment Relations.
Pascale Beil
As director of marketing and operations at Vertra Forums, Pascale is focused on driving marketing initiatives, event operations and logistics to deliver successful customer experiences.
Prior to Vertra Forums, Pascale worked in marketing research at Ryerson University. She is a creative, solution-focused and tech-savvy marketing professional with over 8 years of sales and marketing experience driving measurable results for both large and small organizations in the energy, tech and business-to-business events sectors.
Pascale earned a BComm in Business Management graduating with dean’s list honours from Ryerson University majoring in marketing.
